Multiview Geometry in Computer Vision

Multiview geometry is an area of computer vision which has grown rapidly in its importance in the recent years, primarily through the understanding of the imaging process in terms of projective geometry and its successful applications in a number of vision problems. This course is an advanced level graduate course, and will be an introduction to multiview geometry, which will prepare graduate students for research in this area.
The course has been designed such that the relevance of various mathematical concepts is emphasized through applications. In this way, learning is more meaningful, because students can understand the importance of these mathematical concepts in practical situations.
