Bio-Sketch
I have completed my undergrad studies in CS from UMT in 2004 and recently(4 months ago), I completed my MSCS from LUMS. Now, I am a PhD candidate here in LUMS. I am part of NEWT. I am working under my PhD advisor "Dr. Umar Saif".
Research Interests
I am basically involved in system building stuff. I am interested in the fields of Distributed Systems and Computer Networks. We are working on something that would affect the world in a great sense. We are gonna change the world :).
Currently, I am working on the project of "Containment Routing". Previously, I had been working on the "Poor Man’s Broadband".
Summer Activities
This summer(2008), I am working with
Microsoft Research India. Here I am associated to
Technology for Emerging Markets group and I am being advised by
Kentaro Toyama.
