Bio-Sketch


Tariq Jadoon completed his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the  University of Strathclyde, UK in 1998.  Before joining LUMS, he worked at the NWFP University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Peshawar. There he co-founded the Center for Computer Information Systems Engineering and taught at the EEE department from where he graduated in 1991. From 1992-97, he was an ODA scholar at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.


Research Interests


His research interests include the performance modeling and simulation of high-speed networks, traffic characterization, QoS and VoIP and usage parameter control in ATM Networks and has over 10 international publications in IEEE, IEE and IFIP refereed conferences and journals. He has also one book chapter to his credit.
